Well. The first 3 months I don't see a single CX9 2016 on street in Mexico City.

In the last week I see 5 new Cx9.

One gray last week.

2 White ones last Saturday.

Another gray yesterday Sunday.

And my wife see another red One this weekend as well in front of her (she was driving our red GT)

Nice to see more on the street. I expect the numbers to increase as soon as the Sport / Touring and Signature are available in Mexico

Pic01: From a red CX9 (see the HUD), a photo of another Cx9 red ahead.

yes, me too - i am starting to see them on my commute to work (have seen 2 during the last week).

I've only seen one in the last month outside Boston. Glad I'm not another Audi Q5 lemming....

sorry if this is off topic, but I happen to come across this, I can't believe they still sell basically
my old college days 1991 Sentra as new 2016 Tsuru in Mexico , just wow..... I still see these 90's Sentra's around NYC once in a while

cubanomx, do you see many of these Tsuru's in Mexico, it's funny they make a big deal about a key lock on the gas cover :)

jeeez, it's basically a death trap, no way Tsuru (Sentra) driver can survive a small offset crash like this........

Nissan Tsuru is still available in Mexico in most Nissan shops in Mexico.

There is lot of Tsurus on the street, more in Estado de Mxico than Mexico City.

Tsuru will be available until 2020, I read that on the news. Because the tsuru don't have abs, airbags, etc. It's pretty insecure.

It's heavily used as taxis in Estado de Mxico.

This is why we prefer Uber. Tsurus are not allowed in Uber in Mexico.

thanks cubanomx, wow, boggles my mind that the same exact car design with no upgrades at all (same old dash, crank style windows, no airbags, etc) can last ~30 years and still sell, I never knew that. wished timeless classics from the 90's like the NSX and 300Zx can sell that long......

Is heavily used because is cheap and parts are available everywhere.

Due to basic mechanics this things never broken.

Tsurus are used as taxis everyday for decades and have 200.000 miles or more in the odometer and are still as new.

And the mpg is just crazy this is why this car replaced the regular vw standard taxi cab.

Today Mexico City don't allow tsuru and VW old bettle as a taxi cab. You will see today as taxis Nissan Sentra, Chevrolet Aveo, etc.

In the Airport you will find more bigger taxi cars like SUV, Toyota mid sedans., etc
