I am soooo sad...i just broken it off..with my girl..of 4 years...The first 6months was golden..we really hit it off...we spent allot of time together..more time than i spent with any of my family&friends... Than by the 1st year we broke up and got back together..and since than we have been fighting really bad...Well last nite..she was riding me hard about me smoking..and purchasing...and such...and she called me a drug dealer in a public theater...3 times...before i finally got fed up..and just told her..ARE YOUS STILL PROSTITUIONALIZING??

She smaked me for that..and i bleew up...i nearly smaked her back..i felt like s***..but the girl was really pushing my buttons...She kept yellin at me.."SMACK ME SMACK ME".. i told her no..

I got a ride home from my friend last nite...and haven't really talked to her since...

I am just lookin to vent...b/c i know we aren't meant for eachother...but i still really do think about her constantly. she wsa there to help me when i was in my ups & downs...and when i was stuck..she would come thrtough for me..

i definitly feel ya. just broke off mine of 3 years night before last. it's rough. I try to keep my mind off it by diving into work. It's worse though cuz yesterday she decided she still wants to be friends so now she's callin me. I made a broken heart cd and its helping me through it.

Damn Double Standards!!! She can smack you but u can't smack her back?? Omg..u should be able to smack her as hard as she smacked you. I remember those times with my ex gf...it's times like those that u wish you were a woman abuser...You should have seen the hole in my wall the day she smacked me. It was either her or the wall..that poor wall...never saw it coming...I patched her up nicely while my fist was full of blood..

Anyway...u are better off without her. I am sure she is great in her own ways but a relationship shouldn't be a stressful one. Don't forget, you want to spend the rest your life with this person. I don't think your face can take all of that abuse.

and just to add what Jersey said..this experience will make you stronger and you will find yourself a GREAT gf that will treat you good.

I feel your pain...I'm on the sinking boat as well. My wife and I broke it off after 2 years together. Suxs eh. Don't think of it as 4 years down the drain but as a new start for you. Things can only get better.
