4K fuel cut any gear????

I think they actually did send it to a Mazda dealer. That's even scary to me. If you don't know turbo cars it really does not matter what brand it is. I'll ship it to Japan. I'm sure they can fix it. I just talked to the person that sold me the car and he thinks its done. Funny part is no one knows for sure. I wish people would respect their jobs a little more now a days.

WOW just got off the phone with service. They have no idea whats up. Told me that they replaced the battery cause it was not holding a charge. I have only owned this car for 3 months how does a battery go bad. And why the hell would that have anything to do with fuel cut. GGGGRRRRRRRR

still has the issue. dealers are stupid no idea what a turbo car is. i have gauges on order. time to do manual fuel control.

Whats the temperature like around there right now? If you're running 6-7psi on a hot day, you're probably spiking to 10-11 on a cold day.. And that will cause fuel cut..

Yeap it only happens when its cold. So step at a time going to start moding. Triple pod with boost, egt, and air fuel on the way. Once I have the money to waste I'll get a fuel controller and injectors. Then I'll want a fround mount, exhaust, boost control, intake, and ic piping. It never ends when you get a turbo car ha.

Egt gauge isnt necessary and injectors arent necessary yet.. You can add all those mods and still not need different injectors..

oh really, I had a 95 gsx and needed to go with 650cc but I guess with the big 16G u need that. At least with a boost controller, gauges, afc, front mount, exhaust and intake I will be able to adjust for the weather. Is the stock tranny and clutch strong enough for that?

since the rods will fail after 10 psi, yea the stock tranny should hold up to those mods (and the stock clutch really)

unless your running a larger turbo?

naw thats about what I am going to do to it and stop. It's the gf's car. Thats pleanty for her. I'll put the real toys on a more powerful factory turbo car. The Protege is fun but has it's limits unless you wanna spend a ton.

lol, trust me I know all about that hahaha

yea the stock tranny should hold up to those mods just fine, just don't launch really hard

I was running 19 lbs in my 95 gsx on premium. 300 to the wheels. 12.9 1/4. Wish I could find another one of those floating around to do it all over again. 145 down the front strech at Road America is lots of fun.

19psi and only 300 wheel? that turbo must me the size of an actual snail haha. That or a bad ass tune

Wheels meaning 4... It may have ran a 12.9, but the mph was probably around ~110 if it put down 300..

You cant really compare mazdas to mitsu's.. While 19psi may sound like alot on a msp, its not very much for a dsm..

oh wow ha it ran it at 107 yeap ha crazy off the line 6500K launch. I miss it. It was a big 16g ported and clipped. The only way to run over 19 with those cars is with a front mount. Also only having 8 to 1 compression helps to pull off more boost. Compared to how high the speed is. Stock turbo on the dsm is a t28. 300 at the wheels is actually a solid power with awd. Also has 185-190psi in a compression test. Should check out my old roommates car at www.lilevo.com.
