Not even a boost gauge total stock girls daily driver. I'm going to make the shop fix it under warranty and just wanted some ideas so they don't bs me to bad.
Could be just about anything, WGA, ignition components, fuel issue etc. Just hope that you have an extended warranty as 4 years/50K is whichever comes first.
im guessing your getting boost spike and its kicking the boost cut, mine did the SAME EXACT THING when i first got mine, a $65 agp actuator solved it, during later inspection of the stock one the diaphram had a tear in it
Hard to say for sure that's a good guess. He'll have to tell us when they figure it out for sure. I bet they will change a bunch of things just so we never know what it was.
the MAF.....forgot about that one too, ive had to change my maf before as well....I think mazda just felt like giving us a rubicks cube and saying "have fun, figure out whats jacked up for us so we get the MS3 right"
just got the car so i have to find away around the $100 fee for fixing it. Never has issues with my gsx like this till i shot a ic pipe off at 19lbs. Talk about scary.
dude it's wisconsin...i get fuel cut at 4,000 rpm too...it's the weather...they are not going to find anything wrong i bet...seriously i've noticed that since it has gotten colder out i get fuel cut all of the time....i have 2 other friends in town here and they all have the same problem do a search on it....fuel cut in winter or something like that
Yeah my msp is the same way. No matter what gear im in i get fuel cut at 4k. i have noticed that it only does it during the winter months when it is colder out. During the summer months i have no problems at all.. I have also replaced the wastegate accuator it did nothing. good luck
i had an afc when i had an eclipse. I tend to run a lot richer in the winter with all the nice cold air. so you are saying the factory computer can't handle cold weather cause it can't richen up the mixture enough?
