440cc Injectors Kit

Yea, I was just kinda posting info as I found it, and it started to contradict itself... I understand the confusion.

I posted in the srt forum but its like a dead zone over there. I might just end up buying a set to see (fathers parts manager @ dodge)

When you run 13.15's and find your a/f at the top end over 13.5:1 with duty cycle maxed.

I used the wds. Not sure how someone else would determine this.

on a msp turbo setup, the stock injectors will be running out of steam around 10psi(tuned). they are basiclly going to go static if pushed further.

sadly, on a msp w/ boltons and a tuned 10psi, upgrading the injectors is going to push the power output boundries of the motor when you start running 11psi+. not that the motor will blow soon, but you're gonna be in the motor's threshold and the rods are going to be wanting to be set themselves free of their iron prison.

BlkZoomZoom, DiscreetSpeed, etc are prime examples of running the motor at maximum power capacity. Blk's rods did a dance while one of DS's piston ring fried itself and blew the turbo's oil seals.

At what point do you need bigger injectors? How can you tell?

When she points at you and laughs...then says something like, "Oh, I mean, it really doesn't matter how big it is."

That's when you know.

I guess people run as high as 12 Psi on stock injectors. I wouldn't recomend it at all until you get some sort of wideband and an EGT to keep tabs on the A/F. wouldn't want to blow a motor just becasue you are too cheap to do it properly.

If you up your Boost to 8, it should be fine, but as soon as you change the injectors, you have to get some sort of control measure or it will run rich all the time...
