looks good, damn thats a lot of tire
aMaff said:you mean you corrected major UNDERsteer with a bigger rear bar.......right?
xelderx said:I'm running -3 up front and the rear is only -.7. I need more camber in the rear, but I haven't been able to afford the AWR rear camber plates just yet. The ideal setup on my car appears to be about -2 in the rear. I should have the camber plates in the next month or so. I need to do a little more messing around with the air pressures in the tires, but from what little hard driving I've done it's leaps and bounds more grip than I'm used to. I've been playing around on some cloverleafs and I'm having a hard time finding a fast enough entry speed. I end up going in too slow and accellerating through the whole thing. Also, the Hankooks are phenomenal rain tires at full tread depth.
Rogue said:Justin, I'm looking into some 16x8 +40. I'm worried the +40 will push them out too far? Could I machine them to +45 and still be ok?
xelderx said:Finally got the hubcentric spacers for the front. These are 15mm...about 1/2 inch. Makes the front look more even with the back.
khaosman said:Looks great buddy. Question, where'd you get the hubcentric spacers? I want to get some 3-6mm ones. Hopefully that will fix my wobble too.
xelderx said:I got mine from Ebay. I had to modify them a little bit since they were actually for a Toyota I think.
ARD MP5 said:The centerbore is the same. It could be because of the thickness of the dust cap or that part of the hub area. We had the same issues with our Rota Subzero run the first time. All books will show them as the same.
Either way, your point is a good one. These wheels are an amazing value if you can source these spacers. I'll see if I can find out for sure.
DAMN yu're up late, or early. lolz.

ARD MP5 said:You should be able to source HR hubcentric spacers in the 67.1 centerbore. They will also come with longer studs. I have done this in the past. We actually did the FD setup on the Protege5 a few years back but because of needing to purchase spacers we opted to not go with the setup. I didn't want to press in new studs.
ARD said:I do believe that is the issue with the FD wheel, the bore needs to be deeper and this should only be an issue in the rear of the P5.
