3rd Gen RX-7 Wheels on the Pro5

HAHA, the wheels are SOOO close to front strut. That is awesome :D

I know. They rubbed so bad when I test fit them I thought I was going to have to get a hubcentric spacer just to have enough room. I still might do that in the future since I still have some room before they get close to the fender.

Look AWESOME!

I think that your tires are mounted in the wrong direction, no? Also, do you have OEM studs or extended ones (if so which brand?)? Thanx!

Hmm..I didn't bother to look at the direction. I'll check it in the morning. The lugs are stock. With only a 3mm spacer I still had plenty of thread engagement.

Those look friggen awesome with the fat tires.
Could you take a pic of the tread from the rear of the car?

like this but centered so that you can see both tires.

Justin what degree of camber are you runnning on the car? It looks good, should handle insanely.

I have mine set at -1.5 all the way around. Ill be running Seibring here in a couple of weeks, then Homestead after that. What do you recomend? I had major oversteer a few weeks ago, but I corrected that with a 27mm rear sway, a nice tie bar, and Mugen front and rear strut bars..

I finally went on a road course and I got the bug. Ive been spending a
shitload of $$ on suspension crap.

I'm running -3 up front and the rear is only -.7. I need more camber in the rear, but I haven't been able to afford the AWR rear camber plates just yet. The ideal setup on my car appears to be about -2 in the rear. I should have the camber plates in the next month or so. I need to do a little more messing around with the air pressures in the tires, but from what little hard driving I've done it's leaps and bounds more grip than I'm used to. I've been playing around on some cloverleafs and I'm having a hard time finding a fast enough entry speed. I end up going in too slow and accellerating through the whole thing. Also, the Hankooks are phenomenal rain tires at full tread depth.

do you think that you could do the pic?

Working on it. I'm still in my pajamas at 1:30 in the afternoon. Here is a roling pic from a little AutoX road trip yesterday.
