#354 is no more...

Well, you read correctly, #354 is gone. I don't post on here much, but I just wanted to let all the other MP3 owners know that thier cars are just this much more rare. My insurance totalled it this morning. The accident was last Friday night. Final estimate for the damage was around $10,400.00 or so. I'm just glad I am alive and no one else was hurt either! I'll post pictures if anyone wants to see them later. It was nice getting to know all of you here, I might still be around, but not NEARLY as much anymore.

Now, time to go new car shopping with my insurance check!

Sorry for the crappy pics, I used my cell phone. Anywhoo, here she is... mangled as can be... I tried to take a couple pics under the bent up hood so you could see the engine damage... not a pretty site!

By the way, I'm gonna have a few things for sale off of it probably. If you can catch me before Friday afternoon, I might be able to pull it off for you! I'll sell for cheap because I won't need it.

i used to own an mp3 and my username is "mp3architect". i always wanted something from my previous car on my mazaspeed. i used to have the front grill until i got the carbon fiber one. i would also be interested in any and all the mp3 badges on the car.

Seeing mangled Protege's makes me cringe. Sorry about your car. On a side note, how were those Traction T/A's? I'm thinking about getting those as soon as my Falkens are toast(almost there). How would you rate the sidewalls on them? Stiff, soft, somewhere in between? Sorry for the threadjack.

You may want to consider buying the car back and part it out. You can make a small fortune with the vultures we have in here! We would pretty much take everything not damaged!
