On September 23, 2012 TorontoMazda3 is gathering as many Mazda3 and Mazdaspeed3 owners as possible for an epic photoshoot on the runway of Oshawa Municipal Airport (just outside of Toronto). The fundraising event is titled Heart for Hearth on the Runway, supporting Hearth Place Cancer Care Center in Oshawa and will run in conjunction with a charity run on the airport runway for the same cause.

The target is to have 300 Mazda 3/Mazdaspeed 3s on the runway, creating the largest outline of Mazda’s famous “Zoom Zoom” slogan in the world.

Hearth Place is an Oshawa area cancer support centre where cancer patients, and their families can come share their experiences, find resources, and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other.

Torontomazda3's goal is to raise $10,000 for Hearth Place. To achieve this goal, each attending car will pay a $15 registration fee.
Mazda Canada has also agreed to match $4,000 in member donations.
As an additional fundraiser, we will have a raffle for prizes donated by our sponsors. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event.

Register now at www.torontomazda3.ca/heartforhearth.

We have 182 confirmed attendees, with more coming in each day (over 250 people indicated interest over the summer). If you are able to make the trip, this may be your only chance to be part of the largest single-model gathering you can imagine.

What does $15 get you? A t-shirt commemorating the event , food and drink ticket, an opportunity to be part of a record setting event, being part of a picture that will be spectacular. Also tickets for the raffle that has over $2,000 in prizes so far.
