welcome to the world of piggyback my brotha. you will constantly be changing your map depending on the weather. I dont care what anyone tells you. I found this out on my srt and my evo. Piggybacks need constant attention.
Ps. My car does that same s*** as soon as i put my tmic back on. Something about the car, I dont know which sensor it is.
I understand (and share) the frustration with piggyback limitations but as ecus evolve they are becoming increasingly difficult to crack. The GTR has been promoted as "uncrackable" with 64 bit encryption and something like 1.2M lines of code. Piggybacks are limited in that you have to figure out how the car responds to the changes and the response is not always intuitive. The advantage is that you can run them on anything pretty quickly. If you're patient and careful they'll be almost as effective as a reflash.
Since Cobb hates the speed6, I'm bound and determined to figure out how our ecus respond to temperatures and standback changes.
