2nd gen Protege KL swap

Anyone ever done this? I ask because the cars are cheap because nobody likes them, I think theyre okay, amd the engines are cheap and available and I am plenty familiar with them. I need another 4dr dd and prefer to stay Mazda. I would pick up a BG but theyre hard to find and usually in rough shape more often than not.

Id check out Clubprotege.com. Its alot more active on that chassis, and if its been done or discussed, it was probably on that site. No reason at all it wouldnt be doable though. Would probably be about the same as a BG and need a MX3 GS parts car as a donor for most of what you have to swap.
