2003.5 MSP
Ok ... i have a question ... maybe i am just used to my old turbo ... but there feels like something is going wrong with the MSP. When i shift into second and give it a little gas ... not nailing it or anything, but enough to gain some speed quickly... you can feel the turbo start to spool and then if you dont stomp it harder and keep your foot in the exact spot on the pedal the car seems to shudder... almost lunging feeling.

Anyone else got this issue. Is this the bad A/F mixture. I think the MSP is a ploy by the gas company to make me broke, im having to fill up with Premium about 2 times a week now. At 2.50 a gallon ... im about to become a plasma doner so i can afford gas :-)) ... just kidding

this happens to me as well... its even worse in first. but no worries its just because of our crappy ecu tuning. if you lean the mixture out more then itll stop doing it

it's called hesitation

I had this before the car was flashed. Get yours flashed.
ooops, or it could be that... i assumed you were already flashed (stoned)

The car goes into the Garage on Monday ... ill add the ECU flash to the list of things to do.

THanks,
Chad

Yea... it happens. I would recommend getting Joep's FCD. It not only defends against the fuel cut, but it also eliminates all the stumbling and rough riding. Or... you can take it to the dealership 20 times, with still no fix. ;)

you got a link on that part?

im flashed and it still happens to me .... and ya its our bad ecu/air-fuel

for me it happens in 2,3 and 4 just after spool up

Fixes for hesitation:

Get Flashed

Change Plugs (sometimes causes smilar hesitation problems)

Changing to a Walbro fuel pump has been known to fix hesitation issues

Wait for pinneapple piggy back to come out and get your a/f ratio fixed completely.
