thanks

i have the exact specs as you. i rubbed rears. went away after i had it rolled.

i was to anxious to roll my fenders and i hit them up with a metal baseball bat without any heat gun. i did mess the paint up on the inside of the fender but i had touch up paint i cake on afterwards. i have some rust encapsulater coming to spray on the inside on the fender to prevent rust. it actually came out pretty nice tho :p anyway there is absolutely no rubbing anywhere on stock suspension with 18x8+38 245/40zr18's full lock at 130 mph and full launches from zero to make sure.

and one more thing, if u r going to do it ur self just like greg08 said use the heat gun, take ur time and heat ur fenders enough so u dont crack ur paint

haha no way i dont trust myself =\ haha unless i had the tool. i know some guys who own a small garage who can probably do it for me.

lol yea dont follow in my steps :p i just needed it done asap. i have a plan to repair it well so its all good. but yea save your time and heat the paint up good. i only rolled the rears. if your looking to get 245/40's id suggest gettings a 18x8+38 rim.

im tellin you man goin from 215 wide tires to 245 is crazy amounts of grip :) i was racing a ms3 on the highway goin back up north and the highway winded where we were and the ms3 was on the edge of grip and i still had so much more to go. its the best thing ive done by far

Very curious about your setup as I'm considering the same size. How low are you dropped and are you talking about the rear fender?

I am at stock height. It rubbed the inner fender on the rear enought to wear off the paint and stock under coating. My tires do have a rim protector which makes the tire a tad wider. I only rub like that on the drivers side and I am sure my 220 pound fat ass does not help. I can't remember the tire name but its a off brand that goodyear sells.
