I fitted some ultra high performance all seasons today on my MS3. If my car was lower, I'd have clearance issues in the rear. The tires extend right to the inner fender lip. I little tire sideway flex to the outside and it will rub.

With MS springs and 4 old tires in the back...I did not rub at all coming home. Lower springs may have proven differently.

Just an FYI. I'll take pictures if you all want them.

Molding free.

yeah lets see some pictures, the guy at the tire reack shop said those tires shoud be a perfect fit even better than 225/45, cuase the 235/40 are the same hieght as the 215/45

update. THEY RUB! heh. Just in the back. Not bad...but they def rub.

How do they handle? LIKE s***! haha. They are going to be slippery til the mold release wears off. Sidewall flex is about the same. I got a set of Kuhmo all seasons. I know they are a price point tire but I ran through several sets on my golf and was very pleased with them. My camera is charging. I'll snap some pics soon.
