215/40/18

I was really thinking of getting new rims to replace my scrathed ones. I might be going with 18's but dont wanna do the 215/35/18. Does anyone run 215/40/18 with the MP5. Also guessing the new rim offset will be at least 45mm.

Nobody around runs 215/40/18 for there MP5. If anyone has any info about this let me know. Thanks

I'm also thinking of slapping on some pimpin' 18"s with 215/35 tires on my MP5....

My only concern is the rubbing when turning the wheel completely one way...

dominoy2k1, did your MP3 rub on 215/40? or 215/35?

215/40.....the 215/35 should be fine....i believe that rishies receipe explains all of it....also most likely i think i had wrong offset...

I appologize....I don't have the offset for my rims... but I am running 225/40/18s. I had to "roll" my fenders a bit, (i did it proffessionally....no baseball bat crap).

I think I might get the SSR GT1's in 18 and put on some Khumo 712s...215/35...those are the ones rishie has one his site...
