205 tires

i gotta replace my tires. got the stock rims.
should i upsize to 205/45/16 or 205/50/16

im currently running the falken ziex 912s, good tires, but they wear out pretty quickly. anyone have the other tires or recommend a specific tire?

205/45 www.discounttiredirect.com has the Parada's for $77 shipped s-drives for $99 shipped.

215/45 kumho ecsta xs for $108 shipped, or falken 615's for $106 (beefy!).

My choice? The Falken 452, in 205/50, for $81 shipped. Awesome tire!

i don't know about the specific tire, but i would recommend 205/50. i ran that size on my p5 and liked the way it filled out the wheel well.

The bigger tire will make your car slower, especially from a start, but it will increase gas mileage. BTW, Falkens run wider than most tires. The 452 is a big boy.

the selection of 205 sized tires was a lot better than 195
a lot of nice looking tires, i didn't see any falken azenis though...i like the way those sit

I just got the S-Drives from Yokohama in 205/45-17, and love them. I thought the Dunlop Direzzio DZ101's I had on it before were good, but the Yok's are much better! Smoother, quieter, and better grip.
