I have 205/60-16s on my 5 with no problems, no rub and a heck of a lot cheaper than 50-17s! I also find the higher profile seems to ride a bit nicer in the cold weather.
i put my winter sneaks on last night. the Michelin x-ice (or whatever they're called) ride nice.

These are Sport Edition E3s (i think). I'm only ok with these wheels, not as enthusiastic as I would have been with the MSWs, but hey, they're only winter wheels.

I already am anticipating a problem with the new wheels that is my fault. One fell face down on the garage floor and the cement dinged up the finish on a spoke. What do you bet the salt will eat it's way into the clear coat at that spot? I've never had wheels where the spokes stick out a little farther than the edge of the tire. I'm a dumbass.
