I know this been talked about before but not with 2017 year. Anyone know how to get the Fog lights to work independently on a 2017 Mazda 3 2.5l? Also just want the halo,” brow” part of the lights to be on when switching in the parking lights. Anyone know how to do that too?

You'd have to have an independent switch somewhere on your dash/instrument cluster. If you want them to come on when the parking lights are on, the easiest way to do this is to use a wiring diagram from the service manual. In the absence of that, you can T-in power from one of the parking light wires. Walmart has clamp-on wire connectors that are super easy to use. Another nice tool to have is a pin voltage tester. You ground one of its wires and then use the pin part to poke a hole in a wire jacket to see if it is "hot" (energized).
