I think the best mount by far is this one for $19.59. It is a custom fit for 2017-2020 CX-5s. Stick the included metal plate onto any phone or holder, and the magnet holds it in place. The vent, nor the close wheels nor the hazard lights button is obstructed.

And if you don't care about charging look into Quad Lock. I have that on my bike and it works really well.

I finally got my Pro-Clip mount with an adjustable cradle. Works very well and doesn't block the display or the vents at all. It is a bit expensive compared to some of the other solutions here.
