2017 CX-5 GT Android Auto Upgrade Questions

Hi, I am looking into installing android auto into my 2017 cx5 but have 2 questions:

1. How much is a reasonable price for an autoshop to do this? I am in NYC.

2. Can i use android auto wirelessly (bluetooth) or does my phone have to be plugged in?

You can DIY.
Buy the box. Install DIY (or have someone else do it).
Need to check your software version. It needs certain versions to handle it.
I had a '17 (sold it). I looked into this.

Your nearby Mazda dealer can do for $$$. My guess would be $400+ (parts and labor). In NYC, it would not be cheap, my guess.
Yes, it would be a wired AndroidAuto.

The kit is for wired, but once you've installed it, you can then buy a cheap wireless adapter puck that just plugs into the car USB port.
