2016 Software bugs

sofar I have experienced a couple of software bugs
-My MMI rebooted once.... commonly known issue, waiting for a firmware update

-Has anyone experienced, the right color gauge cluster stating "service past due" right after startup?
It has happened 2 times already, but my service interval in the MMI is set to 8months/8000kms...I only have 1000kms on the odo

I actually noticed the service warning flash by in the last day or so. I have just over 2500 miles and the service internal is 5000.
