2016 Mazda CX-5 - What do you not like?

I can confirm this is how mine works. I get ambient air as long as the temperature control knob is in the blue zone (and the air conditioner hasn't been activated). I get different amounts of heated air blended in depending upon how deep I turn the temperature knob into the red zone. When in a/c mode, the blue zone controls how cold the air is.

The air conditioner only comes on if the knob is turned all the way to the cool side (or you have a defrost setting or turn the a/c on manually).

I am starting to figure all that out. On top of this it sometimes switches to Recirculation from fresh on its own. Just annoying to me. I like to keep my eyes on the road and just move my temp knob without other things happening.

After several months of ownership, I just realized that there is no window lock. I had my buddy, and his kids in the car, and the kids were in the back messing with the windows. So I reached over to lock the the windows. . .Nothing.

You mean the button doesn't work?

Even the Sport models have this feature. Come to think of it, I cannot think of any modern car that doesn't.

pg 3-34 in 2016 manual
press the window lock button down to lock (the one above the master door lock)

to manually eject a child messing with window, swerve sharply opposite to his/her side after the little b*stard has opened the window :)

Maybe I need to look in the daylight. I was fishing for it after the sun went down, and couldn't immediately feel a window lock button. Boy will I feel stupid, if it's right there! (hand)
So I guess I could chalk it up to the "not liking that the buttons have zero illumination!"

When you turn the temperature knob to Max A/C (all the way blue) it automatically enters re-circulate mode. It sounds like all your issues are caused by turning the temperature knob to Max A/C. If you don't want the A/C on don't turn it to full cold and the problems you have will vanish.

Had my CX5 GT Diesel for 6 months now and have slowly got use to the I-Stop system, itd be nice if it could be permanently switched off until the driver wanted it on but once ya learn its operation its ok i guess.

Loving the memory seats linked to the keyfob though.

So you can't turn i-stop off by pushing that button?

When are we going to get i-stop and memory seat in the US???

On mine, the top of the screen cycles between the phone's status and the street information fairly often. I like that I get to see both sets of information every minute or so.

Mine doesn't cycle what software version are you on?

Envy ! Having the memory seats link to Keyfob would be very nice. The NZ version has memory seats but no link to keyfob.

Memory seat should be able to link to your key fobs. Each key fob should be dedicated to one seat position. May be the feature didn't get enabled at first place?
