Memory seat should be able to link to your key fobs. Each key fob should be dedicated to one seat position. May be the feature didn't get enabled at first place?
Good point. It is time to read the manual ...

So you can't turn i-stop off by pushing that button?

When are we going to get i-stop and memory seat in the US???
Finallly found something to really hate on. When you're in a pinch and need quick directions/navigation functionality, this system is absolutely HORRIBLE. It is cumbersome, and not user friendly at all. I've been satisfied with the system up until today when I was in major traffic and needed to find another route. Adding a destination is pretty much impossible unless I'm stopped. Why?? It'd be one thing if the voice recognition worked but that's worthless as well. This was just an extremely frustrating experience and I'm thankful I have google maps on my phone.
Seriously though, what do you guys do? Does everyone just come to a stop to enter a destination? I understand the safety behind it but it's just way too restrictive.
My Nexus 7 understands just about ever word i say, unlike both CX-5's i've had /got.
So it is possible.
2. Cup holders are too small. It's not big enough to hold a large bottle like a 32oz hydro flask or a big camelback. Therefore it I have to keep it in the seat or it rolls around in the floor.
1. MPG not as stated. Have yet to see even 31mpg on highway. City is 20-22 and combined 27. It's ok but was expecting
more. (I'm a very conservative driver and constantly watch current MPG IOT improve overall)
Not necessary. Our AWD CX-5 can only get at most 28.5 MPG on highway driving. I watched the instant MPG and it very difficult to keep up at 30 MPG. Every engine is different even though they all come out from the same assembly line. Some people just happen to have less efficient engine unfortunately hence less gas mileage. Our 2.5L has been using some oil too which is disappointing.Something is definitely wrong. I easily get 30mpg highway with my awd cx5 and thats on hilly highways. Check your tire pressure.1. (rlaugh)@ jhu8,
Just be glad you don't have the tom tom.
Pushing the i-stop button does not turn the system off permanently, unfotunately it has to be repushed eachtime you start the car to disable it for that trip.
In US, we don't get i-stop. Also, what's AFS?
I have owned my CX-5 for almost 4 weeks now and overall I think it is a great small SUV.
The one minor complaint I have is the 160 MPH speedometer. What is the point of putting a 160 MPH speedometer in a car with a maximum speed of 120? The annoying thing is that 1/4 of the speedometer is useless and the part that is used is overly crowded. If it was a 120 MPH speedometer there would have been enough room to put numbers every 10 MPH instead of every 20.
Oh yeah, google voice recognition is top notch. That's why originally I wasn't going to buy another car unless it had android auto.
