2016 CX-9 front blower and HUD intermittently working

I drive a 2016 Mazda CX-9 grand touring. For the past couple weeks the front AC blower has been intermittently working. There seems to be no pattern for when it works or doesn’t. When the front blower is working it’s strong flow and cold. The rear AC works fine regardless of front operation.

What’s strange…When the front blower is not working, the HUD is also not working. When the front blower works, the HUD displays on windshield.

Any ideas for how the two (front blower and HUD) could be connected to isolate the culprit? Many thanks.

The first thing I'd do would be testing for power and ground at the blower connector. That said, the issue might be very difficult for a DIYer to diagnose without access to a service manual and wiring schematics. If hands-on stuff like this is beyond what you can or want to do, then you'll need to take it to a shop.
