2015 CX-5 been announced yet?

Someone posted the UK specs for the 2015 Mazda CX-5 on another forum (Mazda forum). Looks like the advanced keyless entry from the tech package is now standard, along with memory power drive seat and a power passenger seat. The Tom Tom is still used and nothing else major appears to have changed.

The suspension has also be updated. Theres a couple of links on site somewhere.

Euro model has changed to softer suspension to decrease vibration.
No doubt to help with shaky mirrors and hood.
Probably same on US model.

I saw this while trolling the googles...is this a Canadian/euro model?? Climate control, heated seats, knob like mazda 3, leather steering wheel, and stick shift? I bet they have the heated mirrors too...sigh

Euro model. Interesting thing is they get roller switches to shut the middle air vents but the US ones don't.

I keep finding mixed reading like this on KBB

What is New for 2015

The 2015 Mazda CX-5 is mostly carryover from last yr. The only notable change is the addition of Mazda Superior Keyless Entry as standard gear on Touring and Grand Touring trims.

The info is ripped from kelley blue book - http://www.kbb.com/mazda/cx-5/2015-mazda-cx-5/ Pretty interesting since no other major site has covered the 2015 model yet

Interesting that both sites use exact same wording, but kbb changed euro "colour" spelling. I've seen a euro data sheet and it shows 5.8 inch display as these articles do. The Mazda3 infotainment screen is 7 inches, so it looks like 2015 CX-5 won't get updated Mazda3 infotainment. Perhaps there is a ray of hope in that both of above links seem to have originated from a euro source. Maybe US will be different.

Or, most likely, they have no idea about 2015 model and just lure people to their sites. The article is pretty much recycled with no extra content or info. I am sure real 2015 is going to have the same infotainment system which Mazda 3 got. They are writing about the 2014.5 model. Specs of 2014.5 are out at least since Oct 2013. It is the model that will come to dealers in February or March. Forget about seeing 2015 that soon. I almost ordered the car but decided to wait for 2015. I mean real 2015.

Many sites are doing this. They are putting up pages on 2015 Mazda or anything to make you click on google. No real info there. Only few has some info, more are quoting 2014.5 specs, recycling 2013 specs, others are just a ****load of generated keywords. Even that moron on youtube is pumping old videos named "2015 new model <insert your favorite car here>" to trick you and to earn some views.

Trust me, I am waiting here to pull the trigger and buy the car as soon as it is out. I have spoken to many people including a few Mazda representatives. This is not the 2015 model and it is most probably not going to be introduced until the mid of the year.

I wouldn't be so sure. It could be a difference in EU vs US. Dealers in the US are already listing 2015 CX-5's so I doubt its going to be mid 2014 before they arrive. From what I'm hearing from dealers the 2015 has very few changes and none have said the stereo is changing. Perhaps the EU and US cycles are offset by about 6 months because the US has had a 2014.5 model with the straight shifter since October.

[snip] This is not the 2015 model and it is most probably not going to be introduced until the mid of the year.

Right now there are 43 2015 CX-5 for sale on Autotrader. None have pics yet. Doubt dealers would spend this money if they weren't about to come out any day. I saw a production start date on a site for 2015s of January of 2014. They are making 2015s now, but not shipped yet. Imagine it takes 2 weeks for boat to get here from Japan. Still no details on US version ... waiting.

Yesterday, the salesman who sold me my 2014.5 (in January) told me that they have a couple of 2015's inbound on transport. He has no idea about possible changes/differences.

I have been searching hoping that at least some details would be released. Was hoping that they would at least display at the Chicago Auto Show, if they release without premiering I would think the changes would not be significant and would consider a 2014.5 if the discounts are large enough.

Actually stopped at a local dealer to see if by chance a 2015 had arrived early. That is how I ended up seeing the Mazda3 before it was to be on sale no luck.
