2014 Mazda CX-5?

Lol, I love my wife's CX5 but sky active equals tin foil hood. Don't push on it too hard when you close it or it will buckle! Shouldn't be on a $30,000 car.

I disagree. I love the fact that the CX-5 is not porky and overweight. Also, the proper way to close the hood on a modern car is to simply drop it from an appropriate height. Yes, it was necessary to push the hood closed on tanks from decades ago but not on modern cars.

I never drop a hood down.

Simply lower down gently and give it a final push, its easy?

I felt cramped when i sat in a cx5 to be honest. I felt more comfortable & open in the cx7 compared to the 5.the cx5 feels like a mazda 3 & the cx7 feels like a Mazda 6 to me. Granted, i would like some of the newer creature comforts that the cx5 has, but it would take a lot to get me out of it. I can't wait for the SkyActiv Diesel to make it's US debut, but maybe i have an obsession with turbo's

I agree turbo every time for me.
