Hello All:

I am a down right geek, so one of the first things I did yesterday was test out the stereo. I synced my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.0.4). The Bluetooth streaming for audio works great, I know someone else mentioned having resume issues when they got back in the car with this particular phone, I didn't have these problems. My problem is Pandora and I am curious to see if others have it working with this phone. Yesterday afternoon it wasn't connecting, I updated to the latest version of Pandora and got it working, but this morning I tried it again and for the life of me couldn't get it to work. It kept saying my device was not supported. Just curious if anyone has any tips or if enough people have this problem if it warrants trying to get traction from both Samsung and Mazda. Yes we are little fish Android users but it would be nice if things worked better.

I have used my Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Verizon with Pandora, and it seemed to work fine. I'm rooted and running 4.2.1 JB Sourcery.

Also a different phone here, I'm using a nexus 4. I was having problem using pandora function before I updated to 4.2.2 (i think that was the cure for my problem)
Even after the update, occasionally I still have to restart my bluetooth on my phone to get it reconnected to the car.

Thanks for the help guys, sounds like I may need to root the phone so I can get a newer version of Android.

Have you tried unpairing and repairing? That would be my first thought, rooting and going to JB would be the extreme IMO

I can't state regarding the S2, however I know that with the S3 there are some things that work correctly on the Verizon S3 and not on the Sprint S3. So the carrier could have an effect on what you are experiencing.

bloatware! :)

One place you could check/search on, is xda-developers.com, google search for: bluetooth galaxy s2 <insert carrier> "device not supported" xda-developers.com

So I can get it to work if I remove the device from the Mazda and re-add it but I seem to have to do that every time I get back in the vehicle. Only Pandora seems to have the issue. Good thing I have podcasts and spotify on the phone to use without the trouble.
