Whenever I lock the doors whether via remote are on door handle the doors lock however vehicle chirps exactly 20 times. I verified that all the doors are closed properly. Anyone know what can be causing that to happen. Figure it must mean something.
Thanks,
Ed.

Two times I noticed that was when ignition switch was not turned completely off, or the other FOB was still inside the vehicle somewhere. Just an idea..

Ah.. i guess i never counted them.. i just know it chirps when that happens. Also, before you shut it off, you might check your "door open" light to see if theres a bad sensor..

Thanks for your replies and your advise helped. It turned out to be that I had left the 2nd fob in the car. Easy fix! Interesting how the manual doesn't make mention of this!
It's great to have your support. I just picked it up for my wife and she's loving it. Wish the mpg's were better though!

Thanks,
Ed.

Found it in owner's manual

Advanced Key Left-in-vehicle
Warning Beep
If an advanced key is left in the vehicle cabin and all the doors and the liftgate are locked using a separate advanced key, a beep sound is heard for about 10 seconds to remind the driver that the advanced key has been left in the vehicle cabin. If this happens, the doors and the liftgate lock but the functions of the advanced key left in the vehicle cabin may be temporarily suspended. Perform the following procedure to restore the functions of the advanced key.
