2012 base stereo and cruise upgrade?

Hi, I have a 2012 Mazda 5 sport 6spd manual with the base stereo and no cruise. I can get a steering wheel with the stereo and cruise switches, and 6 disk stereo with bluetooth from a 2013 car. My question is, will it plug in and work, both the stereo and cruise? I called the Mazda dealer and they did not know. Has anyone out there upgraded a base 5 like this?
