Yes fiberglass and bondo. I'll try to get a front version for you. I'm not using it planning to release it.

got the eyelids in and while I was painting them yesterday.... someone knocked one of them off the counter and ruined the paint on one. Now I have to wait for more paint. One looks good but now I have to wait to install them. Needless to say, my son is walking with a limp now.

from where did you all buy the 2010 eyelids?

Im lovin the short eyelids that you made Hoku. If you release those let me know. Ill buy a set!
Not hard at all, just tucked the leds under the eyelids. Determine what light element in the yellow bulb goes to the "parking light" portion of the bulb. remove the bulb and place an electrical tape strip on the wire element for that bulb. There are three wires going into the light socket for that bulb. A black (ground wire) and an orange .....There is a write up to knock off the parking light portion on one of these forums. I just went a step further and spliced in the led wires.
Only one set was made for the short version. No other exists. It is a unique design created with the flow of the headlight design. It is made with 4 layers of chopped stranded fiberglass, bondo, and 7 layers of paint and clear. The bondo allows to create a more 3 dimensional look. The color of the lids, I believe would compliment any color car. I don't plan on making anymore as process is tedious and time consuming.
wanted to give an update... I have decided to hack up one set to create a wrap around for the side of the headlight. I have ordered another set so I can do the passanger side. Driver side looks awesome but have to create perfection again for the passanger side. Once I have this complete I will post pics. Also decided not to go with Celestial Blue, I actually found a black @ Home Depot that is almost an identical match to the front bumper color so black it is. Updates to follow soon...
