2008 Srt 4

The rear end is still uglier than:
1. Hillary Clinton's
2. Oprah's
3. Paris
4. All of the above....

All it got going for in looks is: muscular stance and a "I mean business front end"... given all Ill ever be seeing of it is its front end in rear view mirror I guess the fact it has an ugly ass wont matter much....

Holy S@#! did you see the dyno? 281whp & 260 wlbs/tq! Thats around 305-310hp on the engine. Looks like they can't see to connect that much power. The big wheels aren't helping, they need to go a size or two smaller, they're either lighting the tires or bogging.

the mivec is supposed to be very accurate as well sooo(silly) but the vents are operational...they are not there just for looks.

according to car and driver they are fake..in their latest mag. so sorry if they misinformed their readers...and how could a mivec be accurate if a looser is testing their times on a large hill? or even at any incline? yea ok.

(car and driver) " pair of decorative vents".
but yea they could be wrong,i havent seen the car yet in person so i wouldnt know a damn thing

Our numbers are understated as well - Lower numbers are stock. Higher are with a CAI, dyno'd an hour apart. Understated numbers in a low end high performance car are common place.

The bottom line is this: We're glad the Caliber SRT-4 is around. It's capable enough for all but the most hard-core drivers, and it's certainly quick. Plus, without focused engineering teams like SRT we'd all be driving electric pods. But, for our money, we prefer the Mazdaspeed 3.

Enough said.

They trashed the car, wow. I'm glad my money went were it is. I drove my focus the last few days and drove the speed today. What a difference.

Jeez, there was like 7 or 8 instances in that article where they basically said the speed3 does something better. Awesome.

I think it's positively heinous. The MS3 is a much better proportioned and flowing design. I guess if you just want something that looks like a monster, go for it.

Just like any other enthusiast car, their will always be one that will make you eat your words. I'm not saying you'll ever run into him, but, the fact remains.

The car's computer measures acceleration, handling and braking, and displays those numbers on the dashboard. It proved optimistic. Acceleration was the most egregiously miscalculated. The car's computer claimed a 0-60 time of 5.7 seconds and a quarter-mile of 13.8 seconds — much quicker than our numbers. By its estimation, lateral acceleration was 0.88g, considerably higher than the 0.81g we calculated

I can see this being an issue... lets add fuel to the butt dyno claims
