Those are some great numbers by the way. I surely hope when I pick mine up, that it can be one of these freak motors and put out some good numbers. I always end up with Monday motors, I'm hoping for a Wednesday motor (second)

Thanks man. I'm happy with the results.... with the CAI in, it picks up a hell of a lot more... its scary fast...makes you want to s*** in your pants fast! lol

Hopefully you get a Friday motor..... you all know how Fridays can get!!

I passed a silver one in my area 2 days ago. So far, only seen 1 red and 1 silver.

i still have yet to spot even 1.

EDIT: my dealer was selling 1 more red in the show room when i went for the #4 bolt recall.

Im very interested in seeing the dyno with the CAI on. I just got my 2008 MS3 and ever since i heard about the amazing gains off the CAI (and the sound) I want it bad!

Adding that stuff doesn't change anything. The computer is set to have a certain AFR and it compensates to keep it there.

The factory most likely made the car rich in stock form for added insurance against lean boost spikes.

The good news is there's power to be had just from a tune.... alot of power!

I'll see if I can't do it Monday...may have to hold of until Tues. since I don't know if the shop I dyno'd at will be open... but stay tuned! lol (No pun intended, or maybe? :-\) Anyway, I'm pretty psyched about installing my CBE...its just sittin here. I'm counting on at least 5 hp/5tq gain from it, since all it changes are the piping starting after the CAT. So, unless I get a hi-flo cat; or DP, I more than likely won't see big gains....we'll see though! (breakn)

i think the average is around 230 whp and around 250 260 with the CAI but those are def some sweet numbers man.

lol just about! The shop I did my dyno at was closed today; so of course I'll be going in tomorrow for another pull...then I'll post the numbers again.
