Hey, just want to share my Mazda experience to help others.
One night I went over a dead animal, maybe a rabbit or slightly bigger, I stopped and my car wouldn't start, it started on 3rd try and that was when my journey started, many mechanics, Mazda specialist but no success. Computer said there is something wrong with positioned sensor. And it turned out it was a little knob broken inside the Gear drive. Which is located at the other side of belt, I mean driver side or curb side.
Mechanic had to drill that broken knob with a very tiny drill to pull it out.
