Mazda 3 2007
Hello,
I bought my 2007 Mazda 3 about a week ago. It has 58k on it and runs great. I need some advice. What cord do I need to hook up my Android to the AUX so I can listen to pod cast and other stuff.
Also, I drive about 90 miles a day at 80 mph (it is legal on TX Toll 130)to and from work. My first full tank of gas gave me about 31 mpg. What is the best way to increase mpg?
Thanks

Best way to increase mileage is to slow the heck down. I know it's legal to go 80 in parts of Texas but the speed and RPM is killing your mileage. Try this... Fill up drive to and from work at 55-60mph then fill up again and do the math. I promise you you'll be around 35 if not more. My girls 2 get 43mpg if she keeps it at 50 on long distance. My MS^ on the other hand 22 no mater what so be happy.
Things to check for MPG
]Clean air filter
Clean MAF
Quality fuel (Shell, Sunoco, Mobil)
Quality Oil
Up to date maintenance (Your due for the 60k interval)
Tire pressure properly set

I had a 2007 Mazda3 2.0. I got about 44mpg at 55mph and 38mpg at 65mph. Wouldn't surprise me if going 80 only nets low 30s. If you want higher MPG then drive slowly.

I got my 2007 mz3 about a month or so ago and I got 32 mpg on my first tank. I was driving it super lightly and not really pushing it, rarely above 4,000rpm, due to the fact that I had only driven stick twice before. Now that I drive it a lot harder I'm getting around 25mpg. Keeping the rpm's low will definitely make a difference with your gas mileage.
