2007 Buick Grand National GNX

I like it, but here's hoping they'll price it right. The GTO was too steep for the market they wanted, leading to the huge mark-downs that are all over the place. Start it around $27k and they'll sell pretty well.

But still impressive that they got a bucket of bolts to get up to that speed

(no) SOMEBODY needs to do some homework...We were going even FASTER from the FACTORY back in the 80's!!!! I know Lara is going to point the finger at ME for standing up for GM (yes i know its a MAZDA circle)...but unenlightened posts like this just get me involved. (protest)

Thar original GNX was and still is great. As for the GTO, not totally GM crap. For the '02 model year, Holden (Aussie) gave Pontiac 18,000 of what they call the Monaro to slap Pontiac on. The Holdens are awesome, therfore I like the GTO even though Ponts. are CRAP... I like the ElCamino-like version called the Ute...

To be honest, the quickest FACTORY car was a 1969 Hurst AMC. 9.69et on slicks ....FROM THE FACTORY.

I'll take two!

Holdens stables

Isnt there an actual "holden" brand of race cars on the world circuits? Seen a few over seas races with these spiffy little street tuner type cars (kinda like GT1/GT2 or ST SCCA classes we have here) and on their grill looks like a cheveron? think the aussies werent happy with just making unique american muscle types and went independant. But my god...u flip the channels to any sanctioned drifting/SCCA/cup race and you'll find a GTO in the top 5 runnings!! motivates me to go peek at a new GTO Window sticker!!

Holden's Motorport group is called HSV (Holden Special Vehicles). Which like Fords SVT and FPV and BMW M groups.
