2007 Brakes ALREADY Squealing!!!! HELP!

Hey all,

I just bought a 2007 Mazda3 in March, and the brakes are squealing already! What the hell? Do you think that it is enough to take it to the dealer to check it out? Or is the squeaking nothing to worry about? It's very annoying to hear almost every time i start to brake. Thanks

Both my friend and I hear the same thing every now and then at low braking speeds like when you are going over a speed speed bump.

I am sure when its time to replace them that some ceramic pads will be best and take care of this.

I will say that I hardly hear mine ever do it so if they did it all the time I would probably take it in.

Brakes

Take it to the dealer - have them look at the brakes and if need be recoat the brake pads with anti squeal paste. And yes - this should be done for free or you need to find a new dealer and call Mazda Customer Service!

My MS does that as well - I noticed it at looow speeds about a month after I bought it. I'm not too concerned, I like that all my high performance vehicle friends say that's a sign of a good car -

The more noise it makes the faster it is

My car does it too from time to time. Its Vegas....its hot and dusty...our brakes get a lot of crap in them from the road.
