Thats right, a v6 tribute with a 5 speed. I did the swap about 3 years ago. It has a manual trans from a mazda 6 and shifter assembly. The pedal assembly and center console are from the 4 cylinder version of the tribute so that it looks and functions normal. It has 148k on the odometer and Im looking to get $2000 for it. Im in south west Florida so there is no rust on the vehicle. This vehicle is almost 20 years old so its not in perfect shape but i would say its in good shape for how old it is. Its very reliable. A few months ago i had to drive about 4 hours north and it ran perfect. Title in hand!
Cons: It just developed a small power steering leak.
4th gear grinds a little when engaged. Unfortunately transmission was like that when i got it and by the time i was done with the swap it was too late to take it back.
It has not got any worse.
