Your expectation for your tires were greater than 30,000 miles. Tires will not live up to expectations when they are not rotated every 5,000 miles, if they have not been checked for proper inflation on a regular basis and if you drive fast into corners. Lastly, the type of road traveled will wear out many a passenger tire. i.e. road construction, pot holes etc.If you can swing it, get a set of Michelin tires. Michelin does not cut corners on it's product no matter the price point. If not Michelin, be sure to get a very good set of tires, certainly better than stock.
Any car is only as good as it's tires, and anyone riding with you are only as safe as what the tires are capable of handling short of human error. The best protection from a car accident is avoiding one, your tires are the first line of defense. Cheers.
