2005 Taxes - what are you getting / paying?

My ex-wife owes back child support so if I get her return like I should that will be about 3500 from what she said. Then if I get what I did last yr I should get back 2500. If all goes as it should Ill be putting that 6k on my car note, I owe a little over 7k. Ill have the rest paid off in 3 months. Then its house-buying time! (thumb)

Prolly wont get much this year.......but whatever we get will go to my wifes car. Shes tired of me modding my car :)

At work son. Ive been wanting to go out, but no one is ever doing anything when im ready to.......or when there is something going down, my car isnt running correctly. Right now, my plug that i put on to close the EGR nipple on the exhaust mani came off (boom07) So im spittin flames out of it :) Im going to order a closed SS cap for it today, so temporarily im going to get the open-end plug that was originally on it, welded shut (thumb)

I'll be getting about $2,500 back this year and I'm spending it all to have the word "WOOT" removed from the English language (thumb)

Just do it online or if you PM me I can tell you where to purchase the software. I know a good place to buy 2005 Turbo Tax Premium Plus or whatever they call it (its the best one).
I saved my taxes on file and each year I just update the numbers and re-submit. It checks the server all the time for form updates, and also the status of your return. $30 to do both state and federal and direct deposit for both. I think this is the online price as well... but I like the software.

wow. ill hit you sometime to hang out mang

According to the estimator I just filled out, I should be getting back 2500 federal, hopefully 2-300 state. It will all be going to pay off my car, the last of my CC debt and my next 6 months insurance with enough left over to maybe build a new computer so I can move my current down for the 37" LCD flat panel that is on its way w00t! :)

Man, hows everyone get such good refunds? I'm married with a 2 year old. And for the past 2 years I've had to PAY =(. And I only file Married with one exemption over the year...... Do I need to find a crooked incometax guy or what?

I just let them take out the max (less of a paycheck) and I have property tax, mortgage interest and student loan interest to deduct. I'm currently "single" but will be married in June. I know, I know, Uncle Sam gets the interest, but like I've said, it keeps me from spending the money on stupid s***. Now I can pay off the rest of my debt and live a much happier life. Maybe I'll adjust my withholdings now that I won't have debt and can buy things with cash instead of credit.

I haven't gotten my year to date earnings form from my employer yet(I suck at knowing the form numbers). I think I'll be getting ~1k back. Probably spend it all on my car... payments.
