personally i love the car and would trade for one in a heartbeat if the deal were right. 90% of my time is spent inside the car, driving it not staring at it. i get no greater pleasure than having a so-called "ugly" car that puts other "hot" cars to shame.

I raced my uncles GTO when it was against my buddy's 04 m3 which got its butt kicked. It was close though. But will all the mod he has done to it I think the m3 will be left in the GTO's dust.

I love the GTO. It isn't supposed to look like the GTO of old. Granted they could have changed the body style from the Aussie Monaro, but oh well. I pulled up next to a black one the other day with a sick ass bodykit and nice rims and exhaust. Thing was sweet. And now with the LS2 it's even sweeter.

Hey MikeyB, do you have any info on the new GTO Judge. I heard they're comming out with one and it's supercharged. Is this true?

Rumors. I just read that GM is looking to kill the GTO prematurely because of sells.

Didn't MotorTrend have something about a totally new design in 08 or something? You made a good point...with Mustang pricing and I think more interesting styling...this would be a very attractive offer...common GM...wake the hell up!

GM killed its new RWD plateform known as Zeta. This chassis was going to form the backbone of all the small and midsize RWD cars.

Pontiac should be selling the GTO at Mustang GT prices not Infiniti G35c prices.

As deep as they're discounting them, they basically are.

This car will finally get interesting if they green light the Camaro, and Pontiac builds their own variant off of the new platform. Taking something the Aussie's built, detuning it, rebadging it, then shipping it stateside and trying to sell them for stupid prices kills me.

Oh really? I beg to differ. There is a GTO in my family and it handles just as well as a RX-8 and 350z. And the stock 400hp means that you can exit the corner with alot more power then both of these Japanese cars. The GTO would have problems in the twisties with a BMW M3 or 330i Performance Package or Audi S4.
