2004 Mazdaspeed Proteg

I hate when people do half posts. This "I can't say anymore" just frustrates me. Just tell us or don't at all. I know you guys will all slam me like ususal but thats just how I take it. Just my opinion.

Personally I think it would be cool for more of these cars to come out. I thought the dealer told me at one point the next "Mazdaspeed" would be a Miata.

WOW!! Somebody with another secret contact...

About 99% of the time, these statements from people with a secret "contact" are never true. You don't need to worry about it. It's nothing important.

Very Interesting. I think Mazda is making a mistake ditching the protege. :-( It's a tough act to follow.

if i'm not mistaken isn't LOGAN the one with more than one not so secret secret?(sssh) (blowjob)

haha, I think this is my first...

I find it interesting that I can post up what I've heard from an exhaust manufacturer, and generate this much controversy.
This board stirs rumours up until they become truth in some peoples minds.

the guy at racing beat is likely talking about some type of Mazdaspeed 3 or maybe a mazdaspeed 6

theres no more proteges after this year period

your guy at racing beat might wanna keep his theories on the hush hush as bad rumors get ppl fired.

Hey, I'm not saying don't say "Protege" ever again. Just that the Protege is non-existent in the USDM and CNDM for 2004+. It's a fact, not some s*** I decided to slurge.

With the exhaust being Axle-back, can it bolt up to the stock Protege? I don't know much about the difference in the exhaust between the two other than there is a turbo between the head and exhaust in the MSP.

There's a shitload of regular Protege's rollin around North America. They already sell other Mazdaspeed parts to upgrade the regular Protege. Could this be another way to get return customers to the dealers? Maybe trade in a Protege for a 3? I never really understood marketing.

1) the axle back can bolt directly to ANY 3rd gen protege sedan.

2) As long as the protege assembly line is still up then they could produce more MSP's especialy if they have decided to delay the release of the 3 in the states. Also they could just convert any other protege sedan to the MSP they do that anyway at port.

3) Yes the next mazdaspeed is a maita but thats not a reason for mazda to not make a few more MSPs if they think they can sell them.

4) I like Boobies!(boobs)

4...4... I choose number 4...

Anyways, I think it's stupid if they make anymore, there are already to many, it was suppose to be this limited car but now every ricer is going to get there hands on one. Damn the ricers!!! (moon)

True, only the mp3 is limited at this point :p

Hell yes, all you MP3'ers are lucky. For anyone having a hard time finding a MSP come out to IL. I was at a dealership yesterday that had 3 silver, 2 titanium, and 1 yellow and thats just from one dealership. I'm sorry that doesn't sound very limited to me, hell it's harder to get an RX8 these days and those are a prodution car not a limited production.
