2004 Mazda 3 Stereo Question.

So I'm looking to buy a used 2004 Mazda 3 (Hatchback) and I had a few questions about the stereo.

*Can I connect my iPhone to it in anyway? (Aux, 30pin)
*If not, is there a cheap alternative to be able to do so?
*Is it even worth adding iPod Inetgration? Should I just buy a new deck?
*Can I pick up a Factory Stereo from a 2010-2012 version of the same car and hook it up? Steering wheel controls and all? How much would that cost?
*Would I be able to do any of this myself? Fairly easy or should I get a professional to do it?

I don't want to spend anymore than 500$ on this but I do want it to sound good.

Probably your easiest solution is to pick up an Eonon D5151 to replace the whole deck. You'll lose use of the LCD screen above your radio, but you keep the steering wheel controls and gain a lot of features, all we'll within your budget.
