2003 Protege 5 in Laser Blue Mica???

Just came from the dealer. Apparantly Mazda may have a 2003 Protege 5 available as the same color of the blue mp3. Not 100% sure if it's true yet.

Going to be nice looking.....BUT.....as an MP3 owner......just another reason to call Mazda a liar.

Anyone else hear this?

wow..that does sound pretty cool..but it would lower the exclusitivity of the MP3 then huh?
honda did this a while back..when the 1999 Electron Blue Civic Si first came out..they released a special edition Civic later..which wasnt a Si..it was just a LX..but it had the electron blue color..lol...

I don't see how it would lower the exclusivity of the MP3, since Mazda also used this color as a limited edition for custom ordered Miatas. Apparently the color (along with vivid yellow) were only available through some web order special. I think they only did like less than 200 Miatas in the Laser Blue though...

yeah this is not a rumor...it's true...this color is actually available on the familias(proteges) in japan...so now they're just bringing it over...

Well i know the Miata had it..because that was one of the special editions...i didnt know there were vivid yellow ones..thats pretty cool...well..more laser blue for everyone then..i dont care...
car will be porsche ppg arctic white(white with nice blue pearl, like an arctic iceberg) soon =)

Is it just me though or does the color on the Miata look a bit darker than that on the MP3? Maybe it's just that pic, but I don't think so...

I think the Japanese familia always have laser blue, so technically it is not that special, and actually in Canada, mp3s only come in one colour, so guess Canadian mp3 owners should be raving over this then...

I wouldnt be surprised if they will have the MP3 Blue soon.....coz Japan had the White P5....and now we have the White P5 like 4 months ago.....
