2003 and 2003.5 differences

Hi, I'm new to this forum and to the MSP. I really like the community you guys have going. Anyway, I went to the dealer today and it just so happened they got a black 2003 msp in on Thursday. I'm going to test drive it early next week. One thing I was wondering, however, is if I should wait for the 2003.5? What exactly are the differences? I've heard that there are no fog lights, a bigger spoiler, a switch from sparco shift/pedals, different colors, and a new exhaust tip in the 2003.5, is this correct? As long as there are no performance differences, I think I might go with the 2003 since it's available now and I love it . Thanks for your patience and answers!

You pretty much got it right, Colonel <salutes>. The front end is a bit different, with a lip/insert. The stitching in the interior is yellow instead of orange. And the rumour is the 2003.5 exhaust note will be slightly deeper, but I have seen nothing to confirm that rumour.

Thanks for you reply! I think I'll try and get the 2003 then, since I won't have to worry about availability, plus I like the sparco shifter/pedals. Thanks again.

Will do. Hopefully the test drive will be tuesday, so I can hurry up and scoop the car if I like it (I'm sure I will). I don't want it to get sold. Apparently my dealership has another 4 slated to arrive (this is their 2nd of 6th), so I should be able to get another if this one sells quickly to someone else.

It's possible that the 2003.5s seats are just slightly darker, but I think that's just the pictures.
