2003.5_MSP build thread

Where does it crack? I'd like to take care of it before it becomes an issue.

look at my started threads. I made a entire thread on leaks from the firewall areas. The passenger side often leaks but goes undetected becasuse it generally trickles down under the carpet instead of on it. Most show some sign of rust on the ECU cover.

I didnt see this on mine when i pulled the carpet, makes me think its coming in from somewhere else... Would a roof rack also cause water to get into the cabin as it has to disform the weather stripping to grip?

Update.. I have finished trimming the stock honeycomb into my dg grill, now i need to brainstorm up a way to attach it to the grill itself... Ignore the lanyard as its pulling the honeycomb out so it dont fall into bumper...

well some may know, if youve been following the MSP thread, that today i F&*$ed up one of my racing harts today... it hit right on the passenger side floor board, should i check the ecu and make sure its not damaged? (youll see what im talking about in first pic) so heres the damage shots...
the gouges on undercarriage..

And then the poor racing hart rim...

that sucks :/ get a replacement. on craigslist in ohio i think there is a guy selling them individually

there's a guy with an ad in the Toledo or Sandusky craigslist site selling them for $100 a piece- he has 3, and i don't believe they have the center caps.

damage to the car doesn't *look that bad from the pictures, computer is probably fine. Make sure you cover up that bare metal soon- i exposed a bit when i put on my MSP front sway bar and a couple weeks later i noticed a few rust spots in that area... wire wheel'd it off and hit it with some converter and it's good to go

use a bead of window sealant same stuff that holds windsheilds in to hold the OE grill in your DG.
cool thanks, ill look into that once its painted..

U should do a write up on the grill man looks a lot better with the factory honey comb

No need to do a complete write up but I can get you what I did...

1: retrieve a factory lower lower honeycomb (p5,msp,mp3) all the same..
2: place lower honeycomb over dg grill or whatever you want to place it into..
3: I traced the center opening from grill, with a silver sharpie.. You will want to trace it a little larger than the opening so you can trim down..
4: I trimmed mine with my dremmel... But you will want to trim little by little then test the fitment.. If its not fitting the way you want repeat until you got it the way you want it to sit..
