2003.5 pics from BC Port ?????

The yellow looks from the photo's to be the same as the 2002 SE miata...a very dull yellow almost puke yellow. At one point I was looking at bringing in a yellow MP3 to match the blue one we have but the price after all was said and done was not worth it.
Can anyone confirm the yellow colour code on the 2003.5 is the same as the miata yellow ? If the colour is the same as the P5 , US MP3 then I may go for the yellow.
It is nice of the dealer to hold on to the car for me, guess they feel bad since I have had a deposit since April.

And there was another thread with digicam pictures from the Detroit auto show, and it didn't look pale there either.
But I can't confirm colour codes.
I think it was the lighting that day that makes the yellow appear so pale (and the grey look washed out) on the cars at port. It looked like a grey, dreary, overcast day. Good luck getting a nice sunny day to take a picture of the cars in Vancouver in winter. <ducks>

1992/2002 Miata Sunburst/Vivid Yellow = paint code HZ
The "HZ" yellow is on the Miata(s), P5 and MP3. "26S" is only on the 2002 SE Miata so far, and will also be on the 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege.
The 26S is not a dull yellow, but much like the MSP orange, only looks really good in bright sunlight. The vivid yellow is vivid all the time.

Thanks for the clarification...I have seen the yellow on the miata and I guess I compare it to the vivid yellow on the p5...definitly not as vivid all the time...since it is the miata yellow...orange it is for me...when it ever shows up

From the looks of it, it's the same color, or damn close. If so, my mind is made up, this color is awesome
Keep in mind this is under "hollywood lighting" and the vid caps aren't the greatest
btw: The car ain't the only thing in this movie worth seeing.

Starting to doubt my think as well.....hopefully they have one at the autoshow in toronto next week...then I will know for sure

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, wasn't able to post for the last few days, but all is fixed now...
It was quite a site when I went to port to see all the cars, I wasn't expecting as many as there were...
The yellow is a little duller than I expected, but it was overcast...I really did like the titanium, but it really isn't a whole lot different than a dull silver color...
However I have decided that I am going to keep the MSP till summer, see how the funds are, and maybe just maybe trade it in on an RX-8...Mazda says Aug. delivery which means I should be able to get one in '04 sometime...
