I did a trans swap on my car but did not change the harness...... Pissed I didn't now but what do I need to do to make this auto harness work with the manual I changed the ecu to on from a manual an the car is ready to start just need to know how to bypass all the old s*** from the auto harness any input is helpful thanksss

I don't know what to tell you..

Get the proper harness and install it.

Anything other than that would be work for nothing.

There are tons of threads on the subject.

EDIT: You know it's a bit dumb to post the same thing a bunch of places.. You should try to avoid it in the future.

So you are saying that you mean to post it TWICE in two different section on the same forum, even though you did hit "POST"

I am not being a smartass. I am informing you of some basic forum etiquette

No Problem, I am just saying that normally you wont get an answer faster.

If you're using a manual ecu you're probly missing some relays, run a wire straight from the starter wire on the ignition switch to the starter.

I hear you no I thought I was editing the post an accidently posted it again Idk how an if I do that its not going to fry anything will it ?

You need to look up which pins on the old auto trans plug were for the neutral safety switch (This will be in a factory service manual) and jump those two wires. This will enable the starter. You will also need to see which pins enable your reverse lights and wire them into your reverse light switch on the manual trans.

I know in Virginia you don't have to have reverse lights as long as there's 2 or none

And no it will not fry anything, my protege has a wire going from battery to a button then to the starter and the 323 is done just how I told you

Jumped the a an e and f an I prongs inside the plug for the neutral safety switch an the car fired right up and drove fine calling this week to setup a tuning date and will have pics hopefully tomorrow.
