It was probably a bunch of us that were having a mini-meet in the florence area. We split up for a little bit then got back together later. Anyways check out the new tri-state forum for more info. I will back in town on the 22nd and will be at the meet on the 29/30thatticus1398 said:

lol do you all know the story behind that? If you dont here it is lol. When they were building the mall before it was opened they put Florence Mall up on the water tower, but they didn't know it was illegal. The reason it was illegal is b.c they were advertising something that wasn't open yet. Sooo they made it into Florence Y'all which is now know by a lot of people all over the country for some reason. Or at least thats what I have been told.

Yeah, I went to UK for grad school so I traveled to Cincy a few times. I also go up there to see my best friend (he is director of the Campbell County Library System) and he explained the "Y'all" to me.

Thats cool, I was wondering how you knew about it. It's funny how many people have told me Florence Y'all when they find out I live there. People from the other side of the country, its crazy. If you ever come out to visit we should all get together. Any reason is great to get a meet together lol

BTW, congrats on making your MSP "wingless." IMO that looks so much better.

lol a van made the MSP wingless for me. I got hit back in december and it did about 10k worth of damage to the car. when it came down to it ,I didn't want to put the spoiler back on, plus it was like a month plus after I got my car back that it actually came in

i remember driving to lexington and going by the tower back in the early 80's and seeing the florence mall painted on it!
