2.3 sticker on side of car

:wtf: If less than 5% of the Mz3's on the road are made w/o these decals, you're saying that they're not special?

Dude...

Anyone can just go take off the badge. Nothing is special.

badges

The cars here in North Carolina do not have them yet either. But you know, I think the cars look better without them and less "Vibe like". Cause the Pontiac Vibe has the badge in the same exact place where you see the 3's that do have the 2.3 badge. I say leave them off and if you get one that does have them, yank them off.

If you absolutely have to show off that you have a 2.3 liter, order a badge from the dealer and maybe place it on the bottom right of the hatch door opposite the Mazda3 badge if it does not mismatch it too much. Otherwise keep it clean!

Wow Dre, you're really freaking cool! I didn't realize how cool you were till you poked fun at me... I was blind, but now you have opened my eyes to another world... my vision is clear... I can now appreciate the world in a way I never thought was possible... I wish I was as cool as you are...

Seriously man, come on, I thought it would be worth something, a group of people convinced me otherwise, and now it's just a pile-on. I was thinking that it's the little things that make a diffrence when it comes to historical value of cars (e.g special badging on older muscle cars, ex. when dealers gave special packages, they had special badging to go along with the package's, and some of them became worth more money. I forget which car it was (I think the Camero), but there was a special "Colorado" edition that got special badging and such). I failed to realize that it was what's under the hood that made the diffrence.

Thank you. I'm glad I could help.

anyone have a link to a pick with these badges......?

besides I would rather let everyone think its a 2.0 and then smack with the 2.3?

Exactly, its just a badge period.. if anything the early cars would be worth less because of the issues related to it being the first model year of a brand new design.

it's a mazda3, not an enzo. sure it will be rare without badges, but not collector rare. my car is an 02.5 with 02 wheels on it. true, it didn't come from the factory like that, but that's the way it left the dealership. it doesn't make it any more special, though. but if that's your thing, more power to you.

2.3 badge

I went to the dealer (in Miami, FL) to get the 2.3 badges. They wanted to charge me $16 each!!!! Should they be free??
