1st race in my MSP

I just reached my limit of break in period @ 1200 miles and have an itch to test out the car. I pull up to a red light with a black Prelude next to me. I take off quick but he didnt want any. I get in front of him for the freeway entrance and in front of me are 3 people in a mid 90s gs eclipse. There is a single lane and a carpool lane. Ahead were a Buick and an early 90s Integra. I get on the Integras ass when we reach a freeway connector northbound. After the turn merges I pass up the car and look over. It was a girl with some dude in the passenger seat, so Im like whatever. The car obviously had and exhaust and probably an intake to make with wheels and a lowering job. Then they get on my tail and front there it was on. The northbound has 3 lanes. Im in lane #2 with cars on both sides of me. The black Integra behind me is blocked in. We are cruising @ about 80 now. I speed up a little to try and make a gap. As soon as one forms all I hear is her dropping a gear and go left of me. I didnt realize that shell do anything so soon and next thing you know they are already about to pass me up. Not knowing the gearing I drop it to 3rd. Well, that was a waste since I went straight around 6000-6200 rpms. Now they are around 3 cars on me. Right then and there Im like s*** I lost the first race and felt like quitting. I hit 4th gear and start to catch up a little. I look down at the speedo and Im around 120mph already!!! I shift at 6200 rpm to 5th and by then Im inching past them. I get to half a car length past them and I look up to see me coming up real fast onto a mini-van. I slow down.

the freeway is not a race track. one day you'll learn this , but trust me and the other ppl on the board; you'll learn the hard way if you don't slow down and drive responsibly. if your girlfriend was hit by the same integra going 120 tomorrow, would you change your ways?

there are plenty of places and events to racea t each month in any city.

(((LaZaBLuEMp3))) Ever heard of a motor swap or other mods? I had a turbo tercel that would put a MSP to shame but sold it a while ago, I didnt pop the hood of the integra so yes, almost lost was in the story.
